UK Astronomy were privileged to have found an amazing guest speaker in the form of Janelle Harrier Wilson a NASA/JPL solar system ambassador who spoke all about our Marvellous Moon at Green Dragon Rare Breeds Farm and Eco Centre. Although the weather was against us it did not deter UK Astronomy and NASA from entertaining over 80 people, where they learnt all about our Moon using interactive props and demonstrations, the worlds around us with kids holding up an entire solar system of inflatable planets. There were a range of telescopes for them to not only see but use, books, colouring in and a hot drink and sausage sourced from the farm itself.

Ross Hockham, founder UK Astronomy said "Overall a great evening was had and we hope all who came not only had fun but that we inspired them to look up, because there are a billion worlds in your back garden". Pictures by Derek Pelling Photography
