Art Show Goes Ahead Despite Snow

Despite freezing temperatures and a blanket of snow, the Chilterns MS Centre’s annual art show went ahead at the weekend. A sterling group of volunteers, staff and the helping hands and shovels of a team from RAF Halton, ensured that the Pop Up Art Weekend could still pop up!'So many amazing people helped to ensure that the show could go on. Volunteers and staff battled against the snow to set up the exhibition and the Station Commander at RAF Halton, Group Captain James Brayshaw, led a team that cleared our car park” said Hannah Asquith, Head of Fundraising and Communications. “We are also so grateful to the 800 visitors that came and bought from the 94 artists who showed their work with us. Incredibly, although the money is still being counted, we believe that we have topped last year’s total'.
